  在我們的認知中，習慣將商用車劃分為客車和貨車兩大類，根據(jù)用途來定義商用車。

  商用車主要包括微型卡車、輕型卡車、中型卡車和重型卡車，其中載人車根據(jù)載人數(shù)量不同，主要包括微客、輕客、中客和大客幾個品類。

  重卡根據(jù)使用用途，一般分為載貨車、自卸車和專用車三大類：載貨車又可以分為牽引車和平板車，而牽引車一般用于長途物流或港口物流，例如集裝箱，農(nóng)副產(chǎn)品，建材，商品車等的大宗物品。平板車又稱工程機械運輸車，主要用于運輸像挖掘機，裝載機、收割機等不可拆卸物體。

  自卸車主要適用于砂石、散料、土方等裝卸運輸工作，大體可分為農(nóng)用自卸車、礦山自卸車、煤炭運輸自卸車、砂石料運輸自卸車、垃圾運輸自卸車等。

  專用車的用途更明確，常見的包括混凝土攪拌車、清掃車、危險品運輸車、售貨車、冷藏車等。大客車領域，主要分為三類：從事長途客運的線路車，從事旅游行業(yè)的大客車，從事企事業(yè)單位的通勤車。
